Fascinating. Cochran and Harpending – science’s “Odd Couple”. And Steven Chu’s in the audience as a bonus.
I wish however the production values were a bit higher. When the hand held camera is readjusted I got motion sickness. Harpending’s slide were largely unreadable and the sound wasn’t very good either.
They should redo this as a TED style production. Or at least learn PowerPoint.
Early in the first video Cochran glosses over his claim that GCAT has confirmed that twin studies have been accurate. Twin studies are usually criticised for small sample sizes, if other studies now verify this research I would like to see them.
