  1. Yes, it’s bad…and the consequences are hard to predict: Charlie Hebdo is very left-oriented, which means traditionaly pro-diversity, anti-racism but also pro-freespeach, and they were in strong conflict with muslims (both local and abroad) on the “cartoongate” a few years ago.

Now, after this attack, it will be more and more difficult to maintain that islam is a religion like others and fanatics are only a fringe (which is the politically correct position of the left – quite paradoxal)

  2. With all due respect, a more courageous reply came from the audacious Zombie in California, who has had a Mohammad Image Archive at her blog since 2006:

Chick, I’m doubling down on your entries on Islamic inbreeding, and getting them out and about everywhere possible. I’m already seeing people honking on about “how can we help them evolve, these poor poor Muslims????” Good gods.

  3. Muslims in the United States are for the most part, well-behaved, when compared to their brethren in Europe and the UK, partly because they are more respected here. The inverse would be true of blacks. France in particular is more black friendly than the US. It could be because of the demographics as well. So which is it, the chicken or the egg?

  4. @rev dr pastafaian – well, this was the cartoon that came to my mind yesterday. i remember it from before. but, good for those other chicks!

glad you like the inbreeding/outbreeding theory. keep in mind that it’s still a working theory! and don’t forget that selection takes time…and might not always go in the direction you expect.

  5. Yes, it appears dysgenic inbreeding has caused these muslims to act they way they do. They are no different from the Hispanics and Whites here in the states who breed with ghetto blacks. Although I have to say, our miscreant population is of a poorer stock than that of the French Muslim population.

The Muslims in Europe were well-behaved when the numbers were much smaller.

Part of the problem is the majority were (and are) imported from the low-skilled end of the spectrum to drive down wages so they’re stuck at the bottom of the economic pile and there’s little chance of that changing as the continuing immigration of even more low-skilled workers continues.

The second aspect is when people are 10% of an area the peer pressure works in one direction whereas if they become 60%+ the peer pressure starts to go the other way so what integration there was in the past has gone into reverse. So again it’s the *continuing* immigration that prevents any solution.

  7. I’m with stap. This cartoon is offensive. Are they suggesting white is the only “correct” colour? As for the excuse that blank paper being white: that’s just more racism! Why can’t the standard blank paper be brown? Why does the standard always have to be white? Check your privilege!

That… or maybe the Atlantic being considerably wider than the Mediterranean has something to do with it.

  9. The dysgenic breeding in the Middle East could have happened as a result of European colonization, specifically the French in the 19th century, starting with Napolean in Egypt and then the conquest of Algiers and the Maghreb.

Lebanon and Syria were only taken by the French in the early 20th century, and the Lebanese and Syrians are overall a higher class of people when compared to other Arab groups.

no, cousin marriage in the middle east goes way back. at least 2000 years. in fact, teh anthropologists think that father’s brother’s daughter marriage (the kind of cousin marriage that leads to the most inbreeding) began in the middle east: see here.

Could we say indbreeding in the Middle East accelerated under European Colonialism, since its effects cause massive poverty, where poorer and less educated people are more likely to inbred?

perhaps, but i don’t have any data for actual cousin marriage rates in the m.e. going back that far, so i couldn’t say one way or the other. i’ll certainly keep an eye out for such data, though!
