  1. yikes! i’m like you, but a bit lower on openness & higher on conscientiousness (& less likely to enjoy bitter vegetables) & supposedly like Thos. Jefferson:)

when they dug up those dead presidents i wonder how they ascertained their answers. those studies listed by PhDs appear to not be very science-y (more social than science:)

sadly, dead people can’t respond. so all dead presidents have IQs around 45-ish (whatever one gets with zero correct responses on all subtests).

at least they don’t compare us to ancient ol’ aristotle or cicero. the geneticist g. crabtree knows the ancients were all way smarter than we. every man jack one of them.

he never explains using means or SDs tho – probably b/c he’s too busy digging up & testing dead people.

  2. John Adams here. Not being American I had to go to wikipedia to learn about him, and do not feel close to his views or achievements. On the other hand, reading the explanations and less/more likely, I mostly recognize myself so it’s quite good ;-)

  3. I am James Madison

No idea who he was but ‘Amazingly, my personality is simply too smooth and well-rounded for Dr. Neiman’s study to be able to say anything about me’ – so that’s got to be good thing anyway.

But what I really wanted to say is, glad the emergency wasn’t as bad as feared and,

there is a TV prog in UK called Scandimania, has anyone mentioned? It’s v interesting listening to the presenter puzzle over why the Scandis appear to have got so much right and are so good looking; there’s a lot of talk of education and ‘values’ but the word ‘character’ seems to creep in quite a bit and apparently,

Danes can donate sperm anonymously and it’s in big demand from outside Denmark – it would be interesting to know which countries are buying.
