  6. There are science journalists out there who know they can throw stuff out on the table, making disclaimers about the controversy all the while. It’s cowardly, but it does help get the word out. And they’ve got to make a living, so perhaps they are doing the best we could hope for.

  7. It’s remarkable how much more Stalinist things have gotten with regard to “science” in just the last few years. A very, very disturbing trend.
