  1. Interestingly, the argument that we need to prevent sprawl for “sustainability” reasons is nonsense. We have plenty of land, plenty of food, and plenty of water in America to easily support suburban districts. The primary issue, transportation, is really an energy issue, and energy as a whole can only be addressed in any meaningful way by nuclear power from either thorium or boron, (both of which are in more than enough abundance). This also requires better battery technology for cars, but unfortunately, the technology here is still not quite mature.

  2. The tax portion hasn’t been done in Chicago yet, but the drastic increase in Section 8 has. Suburbs are being destroyed. It’s happened in Memphis too, and the crime followed the former public housing residents, because they are criminals.

Then they used school district failure to steal Shelby County Schools for Memphis.

This country is being destroyed people. You aren’t going to be able to live away from them, and not pay to support them even more in the future.

America is moving full throttle towards mediocrity.

  5. The whole point is to socialize not just wealth, but poverty. If you give the middle-class no options at all, no way to escape the effects of the lower class parasites, then you’ve accomplished what you set out to do: Sameify the entire country.

  6. The problem with densely populated areas is that closer neighbors and more dependence on common resources like mass transit creates many more opportunities for conflict. This is multiplied if the area is ethnically diverse, and especially if some or all of the ethnicities are already disposed to be hostile to each other.

Except what is actually happening is a much greater disparity of wealth between a small minority at the top and an ever-growing large majority at the bottom. Their aim is not to sameify the country – equality is just spin – the aim is greater inequality i.e. to concentrate the wealth among the elite.
