The racial differences in narcissism is kind of a “DUH!” finding. It goes to the heart of the massive racial double standard at the heart of our culture – blacks are never called “narcissistic” because it’s politically correct for them to be that one. We only medicalize the personalities of whites.

  4. A lot of bad news for feminist theory in the porn article. I like Lesson 2 especially. This is something men have been saying for years but many women do not listen. instead they continue to starve themselves to meet the beauty standards of homosexual fashion designers. or, alternately, stuff themselves to morbid obesity and insist that they are beautiful anyway. sorry but beauty is not socially conditioned, so your weight problem is not society’s problem, it’s yours… the positive side is that there is no single “beauty ideal” either and almost every woman, if she takes pride in her appearance, will be attractive to somebody out there

  7. I found this surpisingly detailed article describing Ethiopian Jewish marriage rules, in the Hebrew Wikipedia. According to it, they are extremely outbred – they aren’t allowed to marry even their seventh cousins!

You may be able to find something in English if you search for the term “zamad” (a term describing anybody who is seventh cousins or closer to you). It really is sort of like an inverted tribalism.

cool! thnx for the link. (^_^)

i think that’s the same for christian ethiopians, too. i read something about it before and it definitely was some way far out cousin prohibition. don’t remember exactly if it was seventh cousins or what — but it was definitely way far out there.

ah — wikipedia says sixth cousins. must be true. (~_^)

i wonder how long the ethiopians have been marrying like this? and i guess i oughta read up on ethiopian society!

don’t get me started about dresses and clothes and fashion. i am a chick and so even i, your normally pretty rational hbd chick, can talk at some length, and with a certain amount of excitement in her voice, about the latest styles. (*^_^*)

this authors of this book — “Surviving salvation: the Ethiopian Jewish family in transition” — say that the marriage prohibition was calculated back through seven generations, which would mean that it was third SIXTH cousin marriage or closer was prohibited. (edit: don’t ask me how i got third cousin marriage out of that — my lame excuse is that i was in a hurry when i wrote that.)

more research required! (i’ll have to apply for more grant funding. (~_^) )
