  1. According to Wikipedia (no errors there, of course), Novruz/Nowruz is the Zoroastrinian New Year. Purim may be related to it. What is the connection to Easter? Is there a Jewish Purim egg? Did Christians get the egg symbol from Zoroaster via the Jews? Is it all Indo-European stuff?

I presume none of these eggs is “eco-friendly” wood and that no rabbits were injured.

    heh! better not have been!

i think the egg/spring connection is just that that’s when wild birds (like ducks and geese) lay their eggs and they are, therefore, collectible for food. i was wondering if there were any east asian spring eggs tradition, but i was too busy lazy to do any research on that. (~_^)
